Happy fleeting moments moments likeΒ 

the stars that burn bright and die

My hopes as high as the heavens

scorch a trail across the sky

My smile flickers like candlelight

as I watch the nightsky from below

While my hopes drift down around me

half ash and part a-glow

That's a really beautiful poem, Jenny! I love the imagery, especially in the last couplet.Β  There is something very melancholic but pleasing about the rhymes too
