Description My OC Eleanor, second proconsul of the trading town Caridian.
She's one of my few human characters.
To be honest, she's not the most important character of my world, but still important enough to get her own portrait obviously, hehe ^^

I decided to use a color scheme based on the ones used in the 19th century, since I like brown and beige tones.

Done in about 8 hours of work, did some studies on photos and my own face for this one, for the rest no references used.
Since I'm quite busy at the moment I didn't paint as many details as I actually wanted to, I may do that after my semester is over.

This is stunning. I love how soft everything is; her hair, her skin, her eyes. It all fits very well with the maternal image. Her skin is glowing, and it's just beautiful. And I love how simple her outfit is; you don't need anything extravagant because the simplicity of it highlights her lovely features. Beautiful work.

Yes, I normally prefer semi-realism, but wanted to practise faces with this one, so I put most of the work in her face ^^
