Description The Teek are unique in many respects- being one of the most technologically-advanced species known, one of only two sentient saurial species known, and being physically unimpressive (barely one meter tall) and compensating for it with phenomenal intellect- and their vessels reflect this. Unlike other races, the Teek have no military-civilian separation. Ships of the Teek Sorel (something akin to a confederation) are all armed and capable in a fight, but are built for general purpose rather than specifically mercantile, exploration, combat or survey vessels. Thus, conventional classification systems don’t truly apply to them.
The most common of these vessels is the Sanael, which is crudely classified as a corvette or light starship. At 38 meters (125 feet) in length, the Sanael is often referred to as a “scoutship” due to its use in exploration and survey missions. However, it has decent cargo space, potent weapons, decent armour, and excellent scanners and ENWO (Electronic and Network Warfare Operations) equipment, making it a very versatile ship. It is not generally sold to non-Teek, and those few that fall into the hands of outsiders require substantial modifications to be habitable to the larger species that covet them.
Due to the techno-organic nature of Teek vessels (machinery that mimics organic processes, not the other way around), the Sanael is a very intriguing vessel. The hatches are seamlessly integrated into the hull when not in use, and the weapon systems are not visible, being pulse emitter banks rather than turrets with protruding barrels or lenses. Neither does the vessel need landing gear, as it has a passive AG field that does not require downtime. Shield generators and gravitic drive systems are smoothly and seamlessly blended into the hull, leaving no real protrusions or ports.
Teek jump drives are among some of the most advanced, and while their vessels acquire tachyon radiation in hyperspace just like anyone else, they have developed innovative systems to disperse it that do not require T-rad ailerons. They still streamline their vessels to minimize buildup, however, and this gives their vessels a rather unique and sleek shape.

No worries, I'm feeding you at the con, so you can lament the woes of being an artist around a mouthful of Whataburger
