Benji had worked all night in Rue's apartment kitchen. The chef had mercy on the poor cowboy, allowing him the chance to bake cookies without his friends even knowing. He handed the large silver plate to Tascha, a smile grew across his face as he chuckled at her smile. She was lovely, adorable, there was too many words to describe this woman. As she thanked him, a soft frown began to grow on her face, and he knew completely what it was over.
The man sighed, green eyes stared down towards the floor.

"I'm..I'm sorry Tascha, a-about the other night.. I-I d-didn't mean to scare an' ru-ruin..ruin the night.."

He sighed, remembering how new years had ended, watching both his friends frowning and looking disappointed. He almost regretted running off, but he cleared his head that night. He knew what he wanted.

"When..when E-emily had said..'date' w-while I w-was shaking my head..i-....i-i cou-couldn't help but..l-like the id-idea.."

He got brave; as Tascha looked shocked, benji had slowly wrapped his arm around her. He wasn't the most graceful of kissers, the cowboy quickly leaned forward and pressed a kiss on Tascha's lips.
