My first submission on here hope you like it!
It's a digital portrait of my oc named Ellis. I tried out a new shading technique and I really like the feeling it adds to the drawing. I'm still a begginner when it comes to digital art so I experiment a lot. I can't get a grasp on how to make the lighting on the hair look better. Any digital art tips or tricks much appreciated.
If anyone has some advice on how to make cool backgrounds please tell me. I don't like the way my background looks here but I don't really know what would look nice with a character.
