I like the complexity of the piece. Very nice. I myself have just taken a sudden interest in vector art and have none for myself. I love all the flowing lines. Jap would be a derogatory word toward the Japanese, as I'm sure you know now, just like how nigger would be to blacks. I'm black and have a fascination with the Japanese language and culture so I've read up on the subject, of course. Anyways, love what you've done. Good job!

... what a sad crucial error. you use the term "japs" and yet the figure model is not japanese -- to which you admit. this almost seems to imply that "all asians look alike" which is a false statement. I'm not trying to read too much into it, but these "mistakes" often get translated back into the culture as "truths".
is there any way to change the name or perhaps modify the picture?

Although I disagree with ~corruptangel , I think the term 'Japs' is inappropriate; It can be very offensive to Japanese people, especially older generations.

so the title's changed to "lost in sushi"... i dont' really know why that's still offensive (are the characters in the background even in japanese??)
what makes you think that I can't be japanese? i disagree heavily with the title, but as he changed it (yet when I noted him he said he wouldn't change it). i suppose i'll tackle one battle at a time but wasn't it presumptuous of you to assume i couldn't have been japanese and therefore offended?

1) I didn't knowingly suggest you weren't Japanese.
2) I didn't knowingly suggest you weren't offended.
3) I'm part-Japanese and I know my mother is very offended by the term 'japs'.
4) Title changed; problem solved.
