watercolor, and a little gouacheHere's the final version. At least, I don't anticipate doing anything else any time soon.
It's based on a famous photo of perhaps the most beautiful woman to ever grace this earth, Audrey Hepburn.

i love this! i painted Audrey also but only in black and white and shes a little dull, this inspires me to go back into it with some colorful designs like this, thats a really cool idea

Subject to the limitations the particular medium, you might even be able to just paint over what you have. Personally, I'd probably start over... I'm strangely attached to even the paintings I don't care for.

He is my favorite artist, and I credit him in the description on several of my paintings, but I don't think I'm even capable of completely copying his style, heh
Thanks for the caution and complement though. I only started painting last year, so I'm sure I'll be developing more of my own style as time passes. But, I like colorful abstract portraits, so much of my work will be in that ballpark anyway.

Before I read your description, I was thinking, "Wow, that looks like Audrey Hepburn!" It's nice to be right every once in awhile. It's a beautiful and delicately done piece.
