Created: September 11, 2018 [Complete]I swear I didn't forget this challenge- this has actually been a WIP in the folders for a good 2 or so months, but I finally found motivation for finishing it just recently
Okay, but can we just take a moment to appreciate how much fun playing with the color orange can be? I knew I wanted to do Orange Ocean, and with the next theme in the 100 Theme Challenge being Sky, I figured, "Why not make this a Meta Dad scene? Haven't done one in awhile."
So here you have it- Kirby's learning how to ride his Warp Star for the first time, and Meta (DadCOUGH) Knight is helping him! ...Maybe flying over an endless ocean isn't the best idea, know that I think about it...
...Oh well. Hope you enjoy!

Holy heck, this is really cool! And, other than the small error that TheCreatorLynn pointed out, I'd say that this is a 100 percent solid drawing. Great job! (And yes, orange is a very underused color scheme. I'm really glad it's getting some recognition)

Oh my goodness, thank you so much, I'm so happy you like this! I told her this too, but I actually made that little "error" on purpose; I figured that in that angle, it wouldn't be seen bc of the wings, but I'm totally okay to admit I got the anatomy screwed up if that's the case!
(Oh yea, orange is such a nice color! It's not too hot or cold, and is perfect for sunsets/sunrises, which are fun to draw in themselves

Orange is so an underrated color for sure! It can be used so well- it's not as hot as red but warmer than yellow...but now that only makes half sense because colors don't have any temperatures at all haha.
