It probably depends on who buys them. Who knows, it might be someone nice. Someone who'll respect them even if they're a little different, someone who won't treat them like just slaves, to be bought and used until worn out and then replaced... Someone who isn't selfish, or greedy, but has still somehow managed to collect enough disposable income to spend on this sort of thing...
...Yeah, like that'll happen.
