By appearance, yes, it looks pretty friggen bad. The ability to take hydropumps like bubbles is pretty boss, though.

Ludicolo is a party platypus and is very useful, believe it or not. If you know how to chain breed, it can learn Teeter Dance.

It's a shame this is what Lombre turned into. He was pretty much my secondary pokemon in Generation 3, but after he evolved, I switched to vigoroth.

He is even better offensively despite his barren movepool.
Pretty sure Ludicolo is one of the main reasons they banned Drizzle/Swift Swim in competitive battling.

Hey, no worries. I was just trying to back you up from what turned out to be a different PoV than your own.
Ludicolo has everything he needs to fill a wide range of roles from super annoying to super deadly.
The most annoying guy I have seen so far had Leech Seed, Giga Drain, Scald and Substitute, with Leftovers and Rain Dish.
The other end of the spectrum was Hydro Pump, Giga Drain, Ice Beam and I think Fake Out with Life Orb and Swift Swim.
Heck, he gets Swords Dance. He could run a physical set if he wanted to.
