Description
A fun pinup. The goal I have in these pinups are to be fun and sexy, while not being overly misogynistic and sexist. While I will be the first to admit I am not always successful, but I do make an effort to not be disrespectful nor demeaning. The positive responses to my work makes me feel I am no the right track. Unfortunately, popular art does have a history of very exploitative and belittling results. Not to whitewash past works nor the works of others, but debate over things like sex and race worries me. Not in the direction it is heading, but that the loudest voices from the extremes (I am looking at you “me too is ruining the medium” you are far from innocent)are drowning out the nuance that the debate needs for the medium to grow and expand.
