I agree with your opinion. FMA looks like Internatinal... I didn't think about the point. Ed looks Western, they travel somewhere looks Western countries.. the point may makes the comic to be World wide. XD

I haven't seen comic, but I heard it's great. My Japanese friend loves both.
At first, she was worried what's going on to the anime,'cos the story's so different from the comic.
However , she says BONZ(The animation company that made FMA.) did nice job to finish the animation. In the end, the animation story is followed to comic... as her opinion.
I dunno. I haven't seen all episode.

I think Scar is so complicated character. He has his own religion and logic.
But he makes me LOL anyway. He is too serious, and he usually stands in front of someone without saying, but having HEAVY atmosphere..... XD

The main country in FMA ( Amestris? can't remember well... ) is a mix of western countries, but later characters from Xing join the team. Xing is a mix of many Asian countries, people have black hair and wear different clothes. I'm not sure if you know about the new characters - there are 2 ninja-like people, a persian-looking boy and a little chinese girl. That's why I think it's very international XD.

It's nice your friend likes both manga and anime, since usually people like just one XD. I saw last episode of FMA and it was so strange...characters died, came back to life 5 minutes later, and then died again *is lost*. I wonder how the comic will end then...

I haven't seen the characters you mentioned.
It's interesting there are many countries/culture in FMA.
Thanks for teaching me. I will see the rest of FMA when my sharemate returns Australia... I promissed with them we see together.

Characters died, and came back to life in 5minutes? Then died afain? Hah hah! XD
The character must feel he/she's so busy. They may think 'PLS juat let me die, or just let me live! No more switch! '

The Xing characters appear in manga only, though. Anime is quite different. Maybe you and your sharemate will go LOL seeing the ending then. Don't tell him/her about the 'double death', so there can be a surprise XD.

I think New Type is good to know what is popular animation in Japan lately. Another animation magazine, Animedia/Animejyu is for young person, while New Type's target age is bit high. But still, I agree your opinion. There are many super cute anime, sometimes it all looks the same.
My School teacher and classmate really love Naruto.
I bit read the comic, and haven't seen animation well.
Normally Shonen Jumo animation is only fight/adventure/fighting competition, Yu-yu hakusyo also, DB also, Kenshin also, Once piece also, etc etc,,,,
I don't blame that. There are some cool scene and nice drama in it.
But when the compatitions continue long long time... it looks boring for me. 'Hey, these guy still fight in the same place??'

I haven't seen FMA all. Which character is Greed? I need to see NewType...[look around*]

Yes, newtype is good to know what the popular animation is, but they never really have any interesting ones to me I've seen too many cute stuff, and as you said, it looks all the same. I hate a new show coming out simply because it's a spinoff from a serious/dramatic one, and they made it super cute and happy.
Yeah the competitions and fight scenes usually last WAY too long.
FMA is great. My friend is giving me half the series for christmas, and the other half for my birthday. Greed is a character that's really cool. He's a special type of human, that can't die.

Oh, I got who is Greed. I saw FMA only half, there is only a few scene that's Greed in.
But I understand he is crazy character and cool. XD

BTW I asked to my friend if she could by FMA theme song CD/DVD for me.
It include episode guide book. It's COOL!!! I wish I could show you.

This character is cool. But also make me bit laugh...'cos he is too serious.
When he comes into story, usually close his mouth strongly,and stares somebody. And not speak many thing. XD
