This piece of art is dedicated to my poor little (now dead) hamster; Brownie.He was born around the middle of my freshman year in high school. He recently died this year during my senior year of high school (I've graduated now).
Poor little guy had a tumor on the side of his neck, & had to get it taken out. Unfortunately, we didn't get it taken out for about 3 or 4 days, & it spread.
When he had the stitches, he had to take this maple-flavored medicine from an eyedropper. HE WAS SOOOO CUTE WHEN HE ATE IT!!! Good thing was that he really liked the medicine. ^_^
I drew this picture the day before he died. He was so weak that he couldn't move, so I laid him on my bed, turned on some nice piano music for him, & decided to sketch him. I had gotten all my tears out about an hour before.
WAAAAHHH!!!!!!!! I MISS HIM SO MUCH!!!!!!!! T_T Me & my friend were the only ones who took care of him & his brother, Speedy (Who's also dead). So I was practically like his surrogate mother.
At least he's at peace now, & doesn't have that nasty tumor to worry about anymore. *sniff*

Es espantoso cuando mueren... Yo no supe por qué se murió, sólo sé que el día antes se le paralizó la columna (de forma chueca) y cuando caminaba se caía.... Lo único que pude hacer por él fue que durmiera en mi almohada, por si pasaba algo, pero al día siguiente tenía clases.
Mis papás me fueron a buscar y lo tenían ahí, ya estaba frío. Sufrí un montón, es distinto si mueren de viejos. Hice un dibujo de lo que recordaba antes de enterrarlo.
Fotos tengo como 3... era el tiempo de el rollo de 36 fotos y no me dejaban gastarlos.
Sé que esto pasó hace mucho, pero entiendo tu pena.
It is frightening when they die ... I do not know why he died, just know that the day before his column was paralyzed (crooked) and fell while walking .... All I could do for him was he sleep on my pillow, for something to happen, but the next day I was school.
My parents picked up me and had he there, was already cold. I suffered a lot, it's different if they die of old age. I drew a picture of what he remembered before burial.
Photos... I have ~3 ... was the time of the roll of 36 photos and would not let me spend it. = (

Aww. Poor Brownie. Sorry for the loss of your dear friend. All my mice recently died. I still miss them.

Even the little ones are sorely missed. A lot of people don't realize how close pets can be. I feel sorry for those people.

I've gone through that pain before- my first hamster, a teddy the color of cappuccino foam, got cancer, and it spread too quickly for us to know what was going on, and by then it was too late.
Within two days of the first signs of illness she'd completely lost her abilities to walk and swallow, and we had to make the choice between putting her down or having her go on her own.
We put her down, seeing as going o'natural would've meant death by dehydration or starvation, and we didn't want her to go through that.

Yeah. But I had just come home from school & noticed only two of the gerbils were in sight. So I wondered where the 3rd was & found her under a piece of cardboard with a HOLE IN HER STOMACH!!!! I went into hysterics. Nuff said.
Funny coincidence since at the exact moment I found her dead, rainclouds covered the sun....and her name was Sun!! O_O
WAH! She was the sweetest one of them!! WHY HER!? T_T
