Proszę. Myślałem, że to czeski.. ale to nie mógł być czeski no bo Czechy nie mają dostępu do morza.

Ahhh sorry I'm not that good with Polish language, but I do understand basics. :0
Anyway, it's Croatian coast song that is slightly mixed with Italian influence. But srsly does this really sound like Czech language? I mean, I'm not offended or anything, just find it interesting. Why? :>

You know? That was my first thought... "Probably Czech" later I read description under your artwork.. "Sailor".... Hmm. Strange.. I read more above "Croatian song" Ah OK..

I think... that for Poles first thought when they are hearing different slavic language (which has no characteristic russian accent) is "That must be Czech.... alternativelly Slovakian" Just first thought...

But honestly, I am listining second time that song and I can't notice thing which is characteristic for czech language (acording to Poles). Czech language has a lot of words which sounds for polish people funny like "drevni kocur" (squriell) or "poruchana dlubacka" (damaged power shovel) and many others... but for Czech guys polish language is funny too. Fe. words like "samochód" (car) or "samolot" (plane).... That's only titbit.

Slavic languages - if you learn basics you can communicate with all slavic nations.

Tell me what means Bundaś in croatian? This name? I know that word from croatian cartoon "Laptich". Alright. I wanted check it on Google but "Bundas"... ahhh... just write "bundas" on Google Graphic.

Ahhh makes sense, I mean Croatian share similarities with Czech yet Czech are part of northen Slavic group while Croatia is southern. Yet some legends say that Croatian people all came from big white Poland or something so I don't know. And is it me or Czech sound similar to polish but more like, you know when you talk to baby or something? Yeah I agree, it's funny. X,)

Wow I didn't know that such thing can happen if I google "bundas". I guess I learned something today lol. Anyway, I know exactly what animated movie you mean, I used to watch that movie quite often at my friends place on good old VHS player ("Šegert Hlapić" in croatian). The dogs name is Bundaš and it's not a word with direct meaning. Yet "Bunda" in Croatian means fur, so I guess it could be ironically translated to furry?? Plus the animated movie is based on a book by famous Croatian children's book and legend writer Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić. I personally prefer her works "Croatian tales of long ago" and "Stribor's forest".

Yet looking now at Šegert Hlapić animated movie, I can see why it's was such a failure. It's not best Croatian animation. Like, did you know that Croatia won first Oscar for the foreign animated movie back in 1961? Zageb film had quite nice quality works in 60s and 70s so check them out some time. Not to mention that Zagreb film studio inspired the great Chuck Jones and other modern cartoons.

Honestly, I heard about this, but in this story was that Croatian come from historically land called Lesser Poland (I come from there - Cracow is local capital of that historic land).

baby - in polish pluaral "old ladies", or "tough woman"

Ah! Thank you so much. I watched that cartoon when I was child. But in polish they translated Bundas into Bruno, and Laptich into Gregory... I was curious cos I wanted Bundas to my great crossover - witkacy1994.deviantart.com/art…

I know, I am intrested in animation. I know a bit about Zagreb's Animation School. They inspired Chuck Jones? OK.. I haven't heard about it. Thanks.

And if you want to know for what we got first Oscar - www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0pEpA…  Se-Ma-For in Łódź is well know by it's puppet tv series.

Oh! I've been to Krakow few times. It's really gorgeous town.

Oh neat! Your cartoon dog compilation is pretty cool, love their uniforms/clothes idea. :>

I watched Tango few times already since I'm animation student. But my fave stays Czerwone i Czarne, the way it treats that simply background is amazing.

Yes. It is. I am studying here. Kraków had luck cos it wasn't be bombed..... OK.. after war there was strange event like one soviet plane throw two bombs at castle but luckily they falled on squear - near church and The Thievs Tower... Nobody knows why that plane throw those bombs but there is one good thing. Rumble made hat pargets falled in church and historians discovered medieval decorations in one chapel.

They come from cartoons from European countries.. right, there aren't Ukraine, Italy and even Bulgaria or Serbia. The miracle is my friend who show me Estonian/Latvian dog character but it was happened after submission of that artwork.

OK... I have never seen that clip before. Thank you. That's right it's amazing work. But firstly I thought you are talking about music band. In late 60's and early 70's many music bands in Poland have names like Czerwono Czarni (Red-black) or Niebiesko Czarni (Blue-Black). That was again my "first thought".
