I was wandering around in Beale Park, beginning to vaguely despair of finding anything interesting to photograph that wasn't behind half a mile or so of chicken wire when I spotted a bunch of meerkats.Spent ten minutes or so taking pictures and just watching them muck about and the whole while this one sat there watching me; got the impression it couldn't work out whether I was food or a threat
Nikon F75 + 75-300
Framed and fixed a few specs of dust from scanning in photoshop

Need to nip back to a zoo on a cooler day and see if I can get some more fuzzy, human-like mammal shots... if nothing else they make my mum happy
