uploading a digital picture because my scanner is a hoe~Heres the scan if you really want [link]
little bigger and shows detail a bit more
It took me...14 hours maybe... I didnt really keep track this time.
First time in a year that I used colored pencils, and it was a nice change...though posed its own threats since I'm so usedf to layers and blending being easy thanks to photoshoop.
Still need to find a home for this thing... e_e

There's always something special about your traditional work (crayons, colored pencils, everything) that I love. The detail in the anatomy is great as always and that tattoo is pretty cool too.

for whatever reason (not sure if it's just me) traditional work is so much easier to put detail and time into

It's not just you; I feel the same way about traditional media. Though usually when I scan the art, some of the details are lost - especially with watercolor. It's happened with both the crappy scanner and an expensive scanner. >:/
Hey, if you're ever up for another art trade (or if you open commissions for traditional art), then let me know. =] I'd really like to get one of your traditional pieces.

thats one of the downsides to traditional art :I even with photoshop, you cant restore its natural glory e_e
which is sad considering phone cameras do a better job. (take that, Logic!)

i would need an updated request though... i think things are cleared up alot more now i'll be able to do a decent job lol...

That's true. It's weird that a sad 2 megapixel camera on your phone can capture the essence of a drawing better than a 12 megapixel camera or a scanner. I still have photos saved on my phone of art from 2-3 years ago. :I
And that's no problem. I remember you talked about having a bad year and I don't mind the wait. Here's the character ref: [link] It's an old drawing, but if you want, I can try to make an updated ref sheet sometime this week so you'll have that instead. She's been needing to be updated anyway. Since the ref I gave you is only a waist-up, I'll tell you that she wears black pants (usually cargo or anything with straps) and steel-toe boots.
Generally speaking, she's a bounty hunter of Shadows (you've drawn one of the creatures before: [link] ). Also, she's meant to look like a guy, so you don't have to worry about gender-bending. She's often very blunt when it comes to interacting with other people and expressing her opinion. I'll write out a little more about her whenever I update her reference sheet, and I don't want to ramble here so I'll leave it at that. If you need some more info on her, just let me know.
