Also, a mini shoutout to : The dog is based on Kali, a Basenji/Pharaoh Hound mix (as seen here, MUCH better drawn and in color: [link] ).

I wanted to draw Toph with a dog, and Kali seemed to fit because a) Pharaoh Hound = Desert = Oasis... plausible, y/y? and b) I really liked her design. I mean, a curly-tailed dog that can blush? *u*

I apologize for any unintentional misdrawn bits of Kali and for borrowing her for this picture. *resolves to work on drawing animals*

IMPORTANT EDIT: ....Guys. Kali is NOT BLUSHING *AT* TOPH; she's blushing because she's happy, excited and bouncy and likes people who order food. Frick. You really think boy!Toph's such a hot piece of manflesh that dogs want to do him? XD;; And there's yet another thing I have to apologize to Zeke for...
