Picture speaks a thousand words. Especially when I don't even know how to pronounce 80% of muscle names. *cries*A request asking how to draw Serratus anterior. Sorry this is so brief and very general. I'm hardly capable explaining things using just words.

All I can say is that they're generally pronounced the way they're spelled cuz a lot of them originate from the Latin meaning.

I read in an anatomy book by Burne Hogarth that the "seam" of the Serratus mucsles follow a 45 degree arc from the hollow of the throat that also aligns with the nipples and there are five sets on each side. It really stuck with me because it was the hardest thing to draw on the male torso but now I know how to place them! You could use that as a good explaination.

go onto Amazon and order 'Dynamic Anatomy' by Hogarth. Its helped me with my male anatomy massively and as a bonus its got all the scientific names for all the muscle groups and individual muscles. Its also forward by Todd McFarlane and helped him out through his professional comic career.

pretty cool study, love how confident the lines are - you got a pretty cool grasp on anatomy. My main (and only) crit would be is to show how the serratus connects to the scapula//its functionality in its movement, as well as the subtle latissimus overlap. other than that, its pretty spot on
