Louis, the Bugbear Wizard. His own naivety is counterbalanced perfectly by his cranky, suspicious sidekick, Linda.
Lan Se, the Firbolg Monk. Her inate stength inspired her to forge her body into a medium to challel the natural energy of her surroundings.
Frank, the Gnome Fighter. Non human travellers and merchants will know to wait for Frank's gate-shift, as he will treat them bluntly, but fairly.

I've been getting a lot of very helpful and creative comments, so thank you for that. The Bugbear wizard was an idea from a fellow Reddit user. But I just want to make one thing clear, this thing is a character design exercise for me. It's not a comprehensive essay on: "These classes and races have never been combined in the history of DnD!".
So I will gladly read the stories about the Firbolg Monks that you've played, but if all you have to say is: "Uhh, this combo isn't unusual at all!", just don't say anything. It's really not helpful.
