I saw rebuild of evangelion yesterday… and I liked it, even better than the original but I got a creeping feeling that they’ll be screwing up the end somehow.I loved the show back in the day and got the whole series on VHS - cuz I didn’t have a DVD player then (who did O___o ??? only rich bastards that’s who XDD).
Oh well good times good times
It’s not a good picture, rather I screwed up a lot the hand is bullshit and composition is not present, I KONOW I KNOW but lately I just can’t draw

Anyway, you captured Shinji's (is that right?) mood perfectly here. The face came out really great; I love the colors you've chosen, especially for the flush. And his naill is so nice, haha!

I would say that it is worth your time, there are a lot of new scenes and although it closely follows the story of the 6 first eps of the series, some events occur differently. They have even changed the appearance of the Eva a bit. A lot of 3D renderings that I didn’t care for at all but that is just me lol. But on the whole it’s well done, and for me who haven’t watch the series in over 5 years really nostalgic as well. But there are hints that make me believe that the ending will probably be a bit different and that Shinji’s character will evolve in a different manner than in the original series. I guess there will be a split in the fan base because of this but this far I myself am quite positive.

I Ow the new box set, and I watched it all over spring break, nearly nonstop. I was depressed around that time, so it kinda screwed with me a lot, and actually helped me, but anyways, I, like many other fans, want to see the new ending, and I am willing to watch it no matter how it turns out. I watched the End of Evangelion movie recently, and I decided to interpret that as a physical representation of what happened during the last two episodes, but that's just me. I think I will watch Rebuild
