I can't believe I've had Syna for 24 years. I first came up with the idea of her when I was 6 years old and had received Sonic 2 for Christmas. I'm pretty sure the first few months she was just Sonic with a bow, ('cause I had such great imagination), but after that I gave her some wild hair and that's kind of stuck ever since. I haven't felt like re-designing her since the nostalgia of her being my first fan character is too much - though a good friend gave her the gem in the center of her forehead as part of an art trade pic, so that's kind of become a permanent thing.

Anyways, today is her birthday, so I felt like coming back and doing some new art for her. My tablet made shading/highlighting her hair a breeze. Seriously. I needed that thing years ago if just for Syna's hair. I don't think I'll ever stop praising my tablet lol.
