Description I have been thinking of shifting Polly forward a few centuries. These are a couple of concept alien races I have knocked up.
The one on the left is a semi aquatic flatworm-type creature that can only get around in the modern city with the aid of a mechanical walker (mechanical arms help for dealing with punk kids )
The one on the right was traditionally a fast and agile open planes hunter. They are sightless and instead rely on echolocation and bio-electrical fields (like sharks) to navigate their way around. The feather-like appendages on their heads are the receptors they use. They cannot see the visible light spectrum and so are not particularly interested in clothing but they love metal jewellery that transmits, reflects and distorts bio-electrical fields.

I am thinking the world will be a very capitalist society where police are ineffectual and business is cut-throat, leading to the rise of many private military and security firms. (plenty of work for a scoundrel like Polly )

Tell me what you think! All criticism (of artwork and concepts) is VERY welcome. Any cool ideas you have will definitely be considered as well.

Nice work really interesting desighns. I especially love the fact that they don't resemble anything human like. That we commonly see in media these days. Excellent work.

Do I smell a loving relationship sprouting?

This is seriously a wonderfully-drawn picture, with plenty of details without trying to hard to be photographic, in a very good cartoony kind of way. That's a lot like how I draw and a lot like what I draw, as a matter of fact. If only I had a scanner to work with...

Well, cheers to you too.

Thugs and Scoundrels, huh? Cool, but... Tried looking at it with the link you provided, but your site is still under construction and...sorry...I got nothing out of it. What's it about?

Also, just a thought, perhaps it would be kind of funny/awesome/cute if you were to introduce these two characters in this picture as a couple.

That's strange. Can I ask what browser you use? the site is www.thugsandscoundrels.com. It's an action adventure sci fi with Polly [link] as the main character. The first dozen pages are in my gallery but the rest are on the site.

Huh...I must of did something wrong...looks awesome. Thanks.

It's very well drawn, cinematic, and the characters are so far bizarre and hilarious as well as dark and creepy. You seem to have the sheer grittiness and nastiness of the slums down pat, and at the same time you made the characters beautifully expressive, no matter how weird they look. I certainly can't wait to read more!

The one on the right reminds me a bit of a Graboid. Nice work.

Thanks. I just looked Graboid up, I see what you mean. I might have to watch tremors now.

In my opinion, it's a great movie. Also, I just checked your comic out, and I think it's turning out great so far.

I'm assuming the hunter one is in love with the walker.
