About the titel.. Well, to me it looks like he’s looking longing-like at someone or whishing that someone was by his side..
Edit: Gave the sketch some colours. ^.^

^.^ So they say. Personally I think it’s not the only language they used since there been Vikings in Norway, Denmark and Sweden too. Take Gotland for example. A very known viking 'place'. XD

My tip to you (if it's in your sketch book), is to spray it with a lil bit of hairspray... It covers the page in a thin coaghting and stops if from getting smudged. ^^ I used to do it with my charcoal pics.

Ahh well, never mind. Pencil drawings are usually alright. I just thought I'd suggest incase you wanted to be extra careful. ^^ (but if you are still thinking of doing it, make sure its not one of those silly hairsprays that have glitter in it.

^^ It's a good way to keep the pencil from smuching and staining the paper. My mom used to have a special blend for that. expensive though and very hard to get, at least I think it is. I haven't seen it in any store.
