Thanks for submitting this to the group. Normally I'm not fond of photography in the galleries and I tend to judge harshly at times on the matter, but as simple as this one is, I find it very lovely. And something that really catches my eye, is the second biggest droplet to the top left corner, looks like it has a woman in a frilly pinkish dress inside it. That's just my weird eyeball, but I still like it. So good job.

What an interesting photograph!

I like how the dew looks! The reflections make the drops look like tiny pieces of some other world (or multiple worlds) that we can't clearly see.

I'm not too fond of the contrast. I feel as if some parts on top of the picture were slightly too bright, but it may be just my screen. The bottom, though, looks really well-balanced when it comes to colours.

The composition is lovely. The drops are situated nearly perfectly diagonally which adds a lot of dynamism into the photo. And that makes the viewer uncertain about hwo the leaf would look in a second - whether the wind will come, taking the drops away, or will everything stay the same?

I'm not sure if the photo is focused, or if it's slightly moved. If it's only my screen, sorry.

Oh, and I really appreciate the definitions you've provided for "dew". I didn't know one of the meanings, so I've got to say thank you!

I agree that there are a lot of things wrong with this photograph, but I enjoy its general feel, and Im glad you do too.
Thanks so much

Macro shots are wonderful, aren't they?

I like the reflections that you see from the dewdrops and how some of them feels like they're not actually touching the leaf.

In my opinion, though, the whole capture would be better if there wasn't that much lighting on the top right of your photo (the blurry part). When I first look at this image, my eyes are drawn to those tiny droplets on the side where the leaf is dark green. Color contrasts are important to give more emphasis on your subject.

The focus of this photo could be improved as well. Take a lot of shots with the same subject so that you can choose one that is best from the group. I use a Powershot for my macros as well and they're pretty handy.

Also, the big bubble on the back side is pulling away my attention from that one main focused dew. I think that comes with the lighting too.

Overall, I would say that if you have moved the angle of the shot a bit and darkened the lighting so that the quarter of the photo won't be that bright, this would be an amazing shot.

I hope this helps!

I am blown away by clarity in this photo. The colors and the details are simply amazing. The lightning is also fantastic, as well as the angle in which you've captured this. The droplets themselves look almost like crystal, but they still retain that delicate appearance.

Well done, keep up the awesome work!

Wow, I don't know what to say, it's just an outstanding shot.
I'm amazed and lost my words so i'm like kinda trying to make up some words.

Still in shock.
No words to say so I'll ask you this, what did you felt when you took this shot ?

Hmmm, well first of all thanks so much for the kind words, thats really nice of you.

And as for how I felt ... thats a very good question ... I suppose I was enjoying the sunrise and feeling as if anything is possible the way the start of a new summer day can make me feel.

How lovely! The silver dew drops really stand out against the fresh green of the leaf. This is a very stunning piece, but I almost wish you'd gotten a wider shot of the subject. But I'm no photographer, I suppose.

This is amazing!

I really like the point of view and how close you've gotten to capture this and all, especially as you bring the droplets to sharper relief as a result of that. The colours contrast effectively and the lighting isn't too bad either.

I do feel there's a bit of overexposure and that the composition of the lighting itself could do with a bit more work to make it smoother, if that makes sense? True, it adds more variety the way it is right now, but I do feel that the top and bottom, particularly, are a bit too harsh for the eyes and stuff.

I'm also not sure about the contrast and the depth of the colours. I feel as if that level of things could do with a bit more balance and improvement.

You could have angled it differently as well, perhaps, but... yeah, it's not bad at all. I like how it's quite sparkly and otherworldly. You could experiment and play around with rotation as a thought.
