Very nice addition to an overwhelmingly impressive portfolio. May I ask what materials you use, though? Also, Bosch rocks.

Thanks,

I usually paint with acrylics on canvas, wood or paper. A couple of acrylic+oil paintings under work now tho.

I like painting with both. It gives cool textures. What kind of wood though? And how do you keep the paint from losing its boldness when it dries onto the wood? I'd imagine the paint would sink in too much.

Not just wood, but hardboard actually. But also it has to be properly gessoed, because almost all untreated materials suck the paint in. To make really 'tight' surface (for acrylics) glue glossy paper on hardboard , then apply gesso on it.

Thanks for the tip. It means a lot. Most people on here are too egotistical to give out advice. It's cool to know that you are not only ungodly talented, but also very compassionate and helpful too.

The simplest tip in the beginning can make you the teacher of greater artists than you ever could be yourself - a free ride to becoming the ultimate master of masters, and it would be just dumb not to take it.

Perhaps.. though in this case I see it more like the master craftsman who pats the back of his young apprentice to aleve the sting of all the wonder he may witness, and perhaps accomplish, but never rise up to achieve. Still, Im honored to have been given such a tip but such an artist as yourself, regardless.

Both right.

Thanks for the nice idea. Cutting my paintings into small portions gives much better view of their details and the hidden messages too. Iasus was a healer, user of the herb , that is the truth.
