I sorta made this for fun. The character is Johnny Matchead, one of the hapless protagonists of a web comic I've been doing for some time. I think anybody drawing an action comic fantasizes about seeing their characters in video games, so I decided to whip up an animation for Johnny's fiery sword, the Ryujin Honoomaru.Within the context of the comic, Johnny's usually not this lethal, but I guess everybody gets extra fighty in video games.

The clothing seems a bit stiff, but the movement of his arms and the blaze from the sword are great.
