I can see this happening happening so easily. Perhaps with Jaune and Nora trying to pull Pyrrha to safety, while someone from Atlas is working to gather up Penny's parts.
Somehow I don't think they'll tie up the emotional ends for some time. The fallout from this, even if Penny can be saved, won't disappear.
