My first bigger Autumnal painting painted with acrylics on hotpress watercolour paper. 7x10 inches
I wanted this painting to have a Victorian/Vintage look to it and acrylics certainly help in this department! It is much easier to add lighter details on top of dark, but as this was my first attempt at a detailed acrylic piece...it took ages to paint!

Wow... this piece is AMAZING!!!
The piece itself is amazingly and splendidly crafted, a visual feast for the eyes! The colours are beautiful and compliment the piece nicely; the background is AWESOME; the faery herself looks amazingly life-like and real-a very beautiful young woman, as well!-and her clothing is beautiful! It's the little details that I really like and this piece just vibrates with life! [I also love the trees, the leaves, the pumpkins--everything!

Amazing, very mystical and cool.
How did you get this much detail with paint on paper 7x10 inches. That just seems impossible to me, unless you used a pencil and put some paint on the tip to get so much detail.

Hehe...this may sound repetetive and boring, but keep doodling, sketching, even when in front of tv. I even doodled in my school books( not that I am saying you should do that...don't want to be to blamed for lowered marks 
Most importantly have fun, really look at objects, their shapes and colours and where shadow and light fall and keep practicing. Believe it or not, this piece was the first piece where i used acrylics....i was scared when i started on this piece...but i had so much fun that it just seemed to work out!
