I completely forgot all about this character. ONe of the coolest games I ever played as a kid with characters that definitely rank my top lists today.
Was a little disappointed with her "journey" in FFX-2 though...
That game felt a little... Forced.

I agree. X-2 just didn't have the same...I don't know how to say it..."magical?" feel about it like the original did. Definitely one of my top favorite FFs. I was around 7 when my brother got it and it was the 2nd FF game he tried. For a long time he didn't have a memory card so I'd play it from the beginning and see how far I'd get before dying. I'd always die around the Mi'ihen Highroad. xD

Story of my damn life!
FFX was my second Final Fantasy as well.
The first one I had I'd gotten as a gift for Christmas (The one with Squall) and "Santa" didn't know what a memory card was either.
I basically did the same thing that you did. Played until I died. I don't recall getting bored though. It was always the greatest challenge to try to get farther...
But then Pokemon Yellow revealed itself to me and whatever Final Fantasy that was became a distant memory XD
