Yes, I did. I found him more compelling and true to actual human characteristics than any of the other characters. I can't handle flawless.

Vader was never "flawless" just disciplined. I found him childish and unbelievable. A terror to office furniture throughout the galaxy.

I was talking about the rest of the cast in TFA. But even Vader had nothing I could emotionally connect with until the very end. He was also a fully realised character by that point.
Kylo still seems very much at the beginning. Not composed and angry. He lacks control or discipline. I look forward to his arc.
Nostalgia is a pretty hard thing to compete with. It's very fitting that his character is going through the same pressure the audience is putting him through.
