I finally finished them! Sewing by hand takes forever...These are my sister's old pants. I added rainbow fabric to them because they were a little small for me. Plus, I just love rainbows.

I love them! I once used safety pins in my pants but I had to take them out because they were leaving marks on my skin when I bended my leg for too long...

I love the rainbow on these pants... (Inspired by this) I have started altering one of my favorite pairs of pants that are just barely too small. I can't tell if you left the original seam from the denim in there or if you cut it out... Anyways, awesome pants just like the model.

no, I didn't cut the seam out with these pants, but if I could do them again, I think I would cut it out. the seam on jeans is quite thick and hard to get the needle through, unless you have a machine, then it's a little less difficult. but hey! I would love to see the end result of your project.

it's just not the same when they're ripped for you anyway... In any of my jeans that have rips in them, i can just look and reflect on how it happened.. and it always brings a smile to my face... the jeans become apart of you, like a favorite teddy bear.
