:3 my baby girl, tear. she is BY FAR my favorite character. i don't think that any other mare on DA could compete with her beauty, or for that matter want to.
i feel so bad for not drawing her lately, and i think ill be doing it alot more.

Personallity: she's a verry kind-hearted and sweet mare, who wants nothing more than to be everyone's friend. she's verry delicate, and many people compare her to a flower. she's a determined hard-worker, and never fails to please the owner. though she is noble and kind, she is a proud creature by nature, and must have her coat, mane, and tail clean, and she always walks with her head held high and a bounce in her step. she's graceful, and every step she takes seems to be planned, and placed down like a delicate feather. she has great stamnia, and really loves to run just for no reason. she is a verry sensitive horse, and reacts to her owner accourding to their mood. in new places she is jumpy and can be easily spooked, but once she settles down she's okay, but for this reason, she is kept in her own paddock and stall. she can be verry curious and enjoys checking out unfimiliar things. around new handlers or people she does'nt like, she can be quite the fisety one, and is to be watched closely.

History: born into a home she disliked, tear was raised from a small filly, to a fine full grown arabian mare. she was trained in many diffrent diciplines, and when she was ready, she was sold to a rich man with many other horses. then one night, one of the stable hands named aramon came into the stalls, and stole both her, and a hatefull powerfull stallion named diablo. he took them far away to the deserts of arabia, where he thought that he would never be found. here, she was often used as a bait horse for betting. she was bet, her goregous colors attracting opponents, and then her master aramon and his stallion diablo would always beat out the other person, winning them many fine stallions and mares. untill one day...

Story:miss joelie had been at an arabian race one day, where everyone participateing bets their horses, and whomever wins the race, wins all of the horses betted. joelie wanted no part of this, but had brought her stallion, head over heels just in case somthing came up. then, one horse in particuliar caught her eye, a goregous arabian mare that someone had bet. her coat was a goregous color of blue, and at that moment joelie knew she just had to have her. she approached the handler and asked him how much he wanted for this horse, and the handler replied "the only way you could possiably get this horse is if you were to win a race against my master, aramon. and his horse diablo." joelie looked at the mare again, her eyes longing to be taken away from this reched place. joelie turned and went to fetch heels, she jumped apon him and he took off to find aramon. they found him in his tent, and joelie immediantly challenged him to a race for the ownership of his mare. aramon accepted. the next morning joelie waited at the starting line, she bet her horse 'shining penny' whom was a metallic copper arabian that she had bought that week. then, everything grew quiet as aramon rode up on a massive black arabian, diablo. the stallions muscles ripled with every step he took, and the ground around him shook as he troted. joelie gulped and had second thoughts... but quickly shook them away as she saw the light arabian mare that trailed behind them. the race began.
diablo and aramon had a massive head start, as head over heels and joelie took their time and did'nt waste energy. though, diablo tired quickly, and overnight aramon and him stopped to rest. while joelie rode throughout the night, her stallions stamina able to keep up through the slow movements. when morning came, the finish line was in joelie's sights, then over the hill behind her, came diablo and aramon in a dead gallop. joelie kicked her stallion and yelled "HAW!" soon the horses were neck-in-neck, nose-to-nose, cheek-to-cheek. it seemed as though joelie would'nt win, but at the last strech head over heels pulled ahead of diablo, and they won the race. aramon handed over the mare, and joelie prepared to go home.

Color: Turquoise main body, white undertones, black points and black mane and tail.
Markings: rain-like down her rump, black streaks from her eyes, with a black highlighting around them. black muzzle, with a white snip on the tip. all black mane, and black tail with a white strip on the inside, both mand and tail are slightly curly on the ends. white chest and belly, and her front quarters are mainly turquoise.

what her area is like:
she has her own paddock and stall, located near the forest. in her stall she has a rubber matting as the floor, with wood shavings on the floor (they're verry comfy) on her walls she has all of the awards and such she has won. outside her paddock is fairly large, and is in the shape of a circle. it contains some pine trees, and the river surrounding the estate also runs through this paddock. often she has wild flowers in and around her area, and she takes careful precaution to avoid stepping on them.

Disciplines: Dressage, racing, jumping, endurance, and Gymkhana*
Other: she enjoys the rain, and often likes to be out in her paddock when it's drizzleing, or even pouring. though, she hates thunder and lightning, and avoids going outside when such is going on. she also loves to be brushed, and loves getting a bath in warm water, and often falls asleep when she is being brushed.

*Gymkhana is a series of timed arena events that include poles, barrels, and buckets for dropping balls into. Cloverleaf barrel racing and pole bending are two of the most common events. Shuttle races are also common.
