My first published piece of Danny Phantom fanart. I was just a casual fan of the show when it was on, but lately I've been sort of interested in it again; I should start watching the episodes on Youtube or something.Anyway, when I heard the Green Bay Packers were in the Superbowl this year it reminded me of Vlad, and I decided to draw a little picture based on however the results went. As you can see, Danny was apparently rooting for the Steelers.
Whether he's a fan or just rooting against Vlad is hard to say.Personally, I know next to nothing about football.
I was officially behind the Packers, though, mostly just because "oh, I've heard of them on a TV show." Plus being owned by thousands of normal people is a pretty cool rule. (I did also consider going against them just to spite Vlad, though. 
)And Packers fans apparently wear cheese hats. "Cheeseheads," they're called. Excellent.
Also, while I was making this my brother questioned why they're watching the game together. Clearly I have not worked hard enough to stamp that irksome sense of logic out of his brain.
I'm pretty happy with how Vlad turned out, not so much Danny---I don't think I got the Hartman-style head down quite right, and his body looks too big in comparison. (Which was sort of intentional, because the jersey is too big...or something.) I put the whole thing at an angle, which I don't think I've ever tried before; I don't know if that makes it better or just helps to emphasize how amateurish I am.

I can relate to how Danny's feeling here.XD My basketball coach said if Pittsburgh won, he'd sing "I'm A Little Teapot" while wearing a dress! If Greenbay won, however, my fellow players and I would have to do the Macarena! Greenbay won, which means...UGH!
Nice picture! And sorry for the random comment; it's just Danny's expression is just like how I'm feeling about the outcome of the Superbowl.

It's probably better that it's at an angle, because from my memory, you never ever see the DP characters from the front. Their nose, and in Danny's case, hair, is always off to one side or the other. *remembers this show way too well*

I think there might be a few instances where you see them head on...normally I would draw characters just facing directly to one side, but hopefully I can learn to do more complex poses eventually.

Anyway, I'm sure whatever you made will be good, though I have classes most of the day tomorrow so I might not be able to see it until later in the day. Especially since my between-classes break will likely be spent furiously writing the short story that I only have one freakin' paragraph done for why in all of Dante's Inferno did I put off writing this so late?! Who knows when I'll have time to edit my stories...
