I just returned home after leading a weekend photo tour/seminar based out of Canaan Valley, West Virginia. We had a big group of 18 talented and enthusiastic photographers and we worked it hard over the weekend. This is a shot from sunrise on the Sunday from the summit of Bear Rocks Preserve, Dolly Sods Wilderness, West Virginia. Stunning shot Joe, love those reds. Feel the trees just down from the foreground are a little bright in comparisson to the taller tree on the right. It's completely black, and all the others are really light still, not sure how that works... otherwise, awesome man.

I'm not sure light transfers well through coniferous trees the way it does through a deciduous leaf. I could be wrong.
