I made this image on the last day of the OCfair. Somehow, this one photographer had managed to take a high resolution photo shot of an American bald eagle's face. Rather the animal was domesticated or wild is to be debatable. I liked the picture, so I sketched it.

Obviously I am not capable of drawing every single definitive line of the original image. So I chose the key points to draw. It's eyes, It's beak, It's tiny facial hair, and most of the feathers surrounding it's head. I even gave him/her a look of determination about it's eyes.

I think this is a cool drawing. Wouldn't you agree?
