pencil, PhotoshopI got fed up with trying to make this one look like a sort of Ryan Church sketchy painting and just finished the damn thing as best I could.

Β Hi Joe Wight, I'm a freelance videogame developper working for several months on a 2D role playing game in Starwars universe.
I have used your art (Starwars characters) to create my game and I would like you to have the opportunity to check what I have done so far.
For copyright reasons, I can not release this game, even for free. Nevertheless, I'm still working on the game and hope to finish it in a year.
Β I would like to find a way to release the game for free for the community, or even to give it for free to a company able to sell it.
My personal purpose is to have fun creating a game and seeing people enjoying it.

Yeah. That was the planet where Luke grew up. It was the planet that was controlled by the Huts. The planet has 2 names or something. I don't really get it. I suppose its just a Star Wars brain fart, like how a parsec is both a unit of distance and time.

Two different planets. Tatooine is where Luke grew up, the desert planet run by the Huts in Star Wars IV.
Dantooine is the planet Princess Leia says the Rebels are on while being interrogated on the Death Star.

That scene created tension because at the time, it was the planet where Luke and Obi were still living. They're the same place, somehow.

Doing some Ryan church-like painting implies very high skills. I know what it's about cos' I have his video tutorials from gnomon. However you did a nice Job with this piece, though the brownish sky looks a bit weird. But I guess I would have expected the scene to happen in space. Feel free to checkout my own SW fanart.

and in response to a comment someone made, Its not s sulicide attack..reasons
1. that x-wing may have all of Rouge squadren behind it.
2. The star destroyers weponary is to inacurate to hit an x-wing
3. This may be a New Republic Star destroyer in which case the x-wing is a FREINDLY
4. It may be a hit and run with the proton torpedoes
