Really cool picture. Looks like it could be a cover to a science-fiction short story anthology. Or a magazine of some sort.

I love this piece. The way the rocks and his hand combine, the color combination. Well done once again!

Isaav Asimov is one of the greatest sci-fi writers who introduced the character Daneel Olivaw. Daneel is a robot who holds very special abilities to influence the emotions of human beings, by which he gently leads mankind away from self-destruction. over the period of 2,00,000 years, Daneel shapes the destiny of the galactical empire and leads it to a form where it becomes impossible for human beings to be self-destructive and yet be free from all control or repression.
Thts why i mentioned Daneel in connection with your painting. Daneel was the first robot who could understand the subtleity of human minds and understand the emotions. He wuld be quite similar to your robot, inquistive abt the beautiful flower in the valley of death, wondering why it makes him feel good to see it. wondering wht to call this feeling. It would be the robot's first attempt at understanding the connection between feelings and the complex pathways in the brain.

Hmm interesting story. Thanks for sharing! *gets to the library and picks up tome 1 and 2 from Asimov...*
And Joey-B , i propose you do so too dude. Your drawings are beautiful, if you read some of Asimov's novels there's no telling what ideas would come in mind. :] Just my 2 cents. :]

See, this is what I meant! Great work, so damn impressive for such a short amount of time. What are some of your techniques? Opacity shifts? Brush sets? ANYTHING!

Really like this one and the roughness to it. Those robots really do seem to like those flowers. Nice one!
