Earlier this summer while I was working out in the yard, the neighbor lady stopped to chat. While we were having a great conversation, a Blue Jay flew down and landed on her head sending my neighbor into a real panic. I wasn't for sure how to handle the situation but I just held up my finger and the bird immediately jumped on it. The jay spent the good part of the afternoon in my yard and occasionally would fly down from the tree and land on my shoulder while I was working!
