No, not "action force", i know it's their name in somes Scandinavian coiuntry, like Finland, or Sweden. In Belgium, they were called:"Gijoe, héros sans frontières". Translation: Gijoe, international heroes. They were presented, in Belgium, like an internationnal force, of soldiers, who came from every country. For exemples, Airtight was german, Footloose a french, Flint an english, Dusty an australian, Mainframe was italian, but there were also american, like Bazooka, Hawk... It was an other point of view. The character files in belgium were in two parts: in french (for us), and in netherland (for the others). But we had also a fan club... in the time where internet didn't exist yet... The Gijoe, a pert of our history too...

Very cool Jarrel!

It was also a huge part of our childhood back in the 80's.

And I'm from a Pacific Island! How cool is that!

The G.I.Joe franchise touched a lot of kids lives, made our childhood a little better, that's why I'm offering these little art tributes to them.

Yo Joe!

He was one of my favorite character when i was kid! You know what? In Belgium, his official name was Shnurz Kurt, and he was German.

Whoa, that's cool! Were they sold as 'Action Force' over there? He's design really stands out from the rest on that display window we walked by on our way to school. Good times

Thanks dude!

When the Airtight figure came out in the 80's, it blew me away. It's the coolest of that series.
