oh and if you like this comic check out the others in my gallery!!!

and anyone have any sayings that i could use in other comics? any help is appreciated!

yeah that's what i like about sayings like that. I always remeber when i broke up with my first girlfriend and the first thing my mum said to me was the oh so cliched thing of "there are plenty more fish in the sea" and i just remember thinking about it really quite literally to try and take my mind off things. i'm really quite interested in whereabouts weird sayings come from. like my dad has a few...like...if he's had a good nite out he'll say "oh, it was the most fun you could have with your clothes on" now THAT'S a weird one. sorry for the blabbering on here.

haha i don't mean to try and make you do things but a suggestion for that clothes one could be four or five guys playing scrabble naked or something and one of them goes "This Sucks"

"Mind your p's and q's" dates back to the days of newspaper printers. To put words onto paper, the printers used tiny little metal letter stamps. The stamps were covered in ink, then placed on the paper, and the page would be printed. The printers had to check each stamp before they put it on the paper, to make sure it was the right letter.

However, the letters on the stamps were the mirror image of their real letters, so when a printer checked the letter, he had to remember that what looked like a p was really a q and vice versa. Thus, mind your p's and q's. ;D
