The year is 2409. The after effects of the Iconian wars ravaged throughout every system of every quadrant in the milky-way galaxy leaving nothing but casualty results and derilect ships amongst the stars. Out of the bloodiest came the most controversial: The Alpha Centauri Skirmish of 2393-2398, a system since the foundation of the federation has been lost mostly to the prime directive. But as time passed politicians and ambassadors fought and aggressively made their say about what to do with a system under prime directive but within federation space. Some believed that it should stay Prime Directive but under constant patrol, others said to not waste time on pre-warp civilizations, but others believed that it would prove to be a foothold and easy access to the Federations doorstep.

But the ambassadors and council of the Federation denied the fact of an invasion into Federation territory 'No species would dare invade the Federation border without our knowledge.' But they were fools to think so ligthtly about the consequences, when the Iconians invaded the Alpha Centauri system. inhabited moons and planets cowered and feared as Iconian ships blackened the skies as the threat of invasion became reality. Most of the indigenous did not stand a chance against the Iconians as they tried to fend them off with primitive weapons... leaving starfleet no choice but to break the P.D.Q (Prime Directive Quarantine) to intervene and defend whatever was left.

After the Iconians surrendered, fled, or were defeated in bloody conflict, the devastation and forced introduction of Warp technological systems to the pre-warp, Starfleet had no choice but to bring most of the system into the Federation under the Centaurian Treaty: signed by the Federation President along with the newly appointed Na'vi Prime Minister. With the signing of the treaty Starfleet would accept the system into the Federation with all of the controversy and arguments that followed with it's entrance. Now as a new species of aliens join the ever growing Federation of planets, they will explore, where none of them have gone before.
