Another Commission. This time for

This is Serene and Jala in the mids of their conflict.

Serene's background info:
Serene is an angel from the heavens, sent down to observe the doings of man. Only ordered to watch and never act, it hurt Serene's soul to see such pain on the world under wings. So, upon asking and recieving new orders from above, her new task was to help the people and regain control over the evil in the world. While on her journey, she found an alien container, dropped off a van that was speeding through Paragon city, and crashed into a store. After the paramedics carried the guy off and the crowds were secure by police, she found the strange item and left. Later she unknowingly activated it, activating the stuff inside. The bio-armor covered her, and eventuall merged with her in a symbiotic way. So she was dubbed the Holy Guyver when she is in the armor.

Serene rarely uses the armor, she relies on the gifts that god gave to her. During her journey, she met many types of people, and vanquished a few demons along the way. Something that is unheard of but happened was that Serene befriended a demon, a girl named Jala. They do get along sometimes, but other times Jala behavior gets outof hand, which leads them bumping heads.

Jala's Background Info:

Jala is a a demon from the farthest depths of hell. She was called to earth to create havoc and chaos. Upon being ripped from the underworld to the surface, she lost her memory and her goals. As she wondered around Paragon city, she was almost killed by a hero thinking that she was a villain there to cause trouble. Upon finding that she wasnt, he took her her. A demon such as herself wouldnt survive on earth for long without an anchor, something to keep her tied there. Offering half of her soul, she bound herself to the person that found her. Years passed and she gained new memories as a hero, she gained a tragic one. The friend that she gave half her soul to died in battle. She lost a friend, and also lost an anchor. When her friend died, her soul became one again, and she later gained another friend, binding herself to him, and still continues the fight for good. She is kind of flirtatious, liking to get the attention of men, but mostly she likes to pal around with her angel friend, Serene. She loves to drag Serene along on her little adventures, wether they're good or naughty. (See RandomRedux's WoCS) At times she likes to unleash a little of the more darker side, which usually leads to Serene tying to stop her, which can cause alot of property damage.

result.

This was done around 5-6 hours. Done via gelpen, japanese brush, chinese inks and unipen. Adjusted levels on photoshop.
