The second installment of my 9 part series Sketchpad of Favorites, Hayley Smith from American Dad!. I had previously drawn in the Seth MacFarlane style before back in September 2011 when I did some portraits of a few Family Guy characters on notebook paper at school when I was bored during lunch.To me, Hayley Smith has remained one of the two truly consistent main characters (the other being Klaus) as the show has gone on and slowly losing more and more quality to the point of being a borderline Family Guy clone by Season 9. As has pointed out, she realizes that she's hypocritical and tries to better herself. Unlike her father Stan Smith who simply undergoes the annoying Aesop Amnesia status quo whenever he learns a lesson.
It's also sad that Hayley has been Demoted to Extra the past few seasons (though she has been incorporated more recently) since that's a fate that seems to happen to a lot of my favorite characters and that she was the 2nd character created for the show when Seth originally came up with the idea for American Dad! back in late 2003.

The current season airing is the 11th which unlike the 10 seasons before is on TBS. So far, it is shaping up to be even worse than Season 7 (which is still currently my pick for least favorite season). The show to me is an absolute former shell of itself even though I've seen every episode and will continue to watch every episode until it does get to the point where I become tired of it.

I can watch upto 9 on American Netflix but in the UK we do not have seasons 10 or 11 yet, I think there are definitely weaker episodes but there are very few I can say I haven't enjoyed at all. I do not care a lot for the 'Tearjerker' James Bond parody episodes or some of the ones that do not fit into the conventions of a usual episodes, example, the one where its set in a theatre and in the 50's I think, it was alright but not really my sort of thing. However, I recently watched the one with Jeff in space and I have to say that is now one of my favourite episodes. I still love the show a lot, I watch it like every day haha. I used to be a massive South Park fan but turned to American Dad! when I got bored of re-watching the same episodes of SP and the new ones are pretty lame most of the time.
