This is a brilliant piece.
I love how well you conveyed how imposing the cliffs are. I really feel closed in looking out at the tower in the distance.
The balance of light and color really pulls the eye around too. I can't help but look at the red and bright greens. They work together well to show the guy and where he's going. That's actually how I first noticed the tower. My eyes went straight for the red coat, then wondered to the brightly lit trail end, then up to see where the trail was going.
I also really like the slight blur of the foreground objects. They're there, but there's this impression that they're really not what's being looked at and it pulls my eyes up. It also adds to the feeling that I'm in the scene, looking ahead on this trail.
