Sorry.. can't resist: Is she saying to him(?):
" ...There's no point gritting your teeth like that... well, Perhaps, but you really should know better than to take that inside line on the 12th and 14th turns, you lost valuable seconds right there, now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for teddy's tea..."

you!, difficulty keeping up?. pull the other one dear sir!,
OK, in certain respects am wet behind the bushes, (old enough to have 1.768355 hair follicles in ears...), I predate Liz's coronation, remember clearly carthorses in London, invented Bacardi breezers when there were still silk-wearing, pig-tailed Chinese restaurant owners in Limehouse, had my amazing Jewish, landlord in his Bentley take away my rubbish in his boot, during the dustmen's strike, Kathy Kirby, one of the, (like Dusty's), most underestimated voices in show business was a personal friend of mine as was a certain George Eisenhower, (yes those Eisenhowers... apparently, on one occasion, the New York cops cleared a route, clear through Manhatten down to the docks so that George, my friend, and siblings, could get to the docks before the Queen Mary sailed; in order for their parents to monitor their music lesson progress by hearing them play their violins, piano etc, onboard ), who was probably the most powerful intellect, (other than perhaps a certain Mr Lyward who ran a school for about 24 children in Appledore, Kent), I've ever met and was instrumental in seminal legal battles in the '70's and lived near me in the East end, with overflowing books in every room and a Roger Bacon on the wall.. a bit of a rebel, that one! there's more... including the time that 16 armed French cops laid an ambush for me on Boulevard Foch in Angers, for having the temerity to steal my own car.... and narrowly escaping being raped by 3 burly Spanish guys a little north of Salamanca in Spain when I was a very very young hitchhiker on his own travelling through Europe in the 70's and knew nothing! .... oh yeah and there was the time tha.......
Yep, I've been told there's a story,
my age? a little west of the moon and east of the sun... hehe!
So much fun chatting with you! again, my very best, Peter.
now! tell me a bit about yourself, and don't be modest, even if stuff is "apparently banal" to other's less perceptive, we both know the joy in little details, the value of odd moments, a serendipitous discovery in a curious shop tucked away in an alleyway... the light on a butterfly's wing in the bluebell woods.... the look in the eye of our beloved, that thankful step back onto the kerb for no earthly reason, just as a 40 ton truck whooshes by!...phew, gulp!...

Yes it was a complement and I may have difficulty keeping up.
Sounds like there's a real story there.
By the way how old are you?
Is it rude to ask a knotter his age? Just building up a picture for our records.

Brrrmm Brrmm! or: Big "Toad" Sam* the samurai-wiccan-boadiccan old softie! the spirit of ecstasy waving victory is a nice touch... the candid simplicity of "Emily" the scooter-driving nemesis of teddy-bears everywhere... is a given... tell me: "are they comparing notes and technical info on beheading stuff?"
*Of course this could be a legendary incident in Big Sam's early girlhood?...
Okay, you get your fav for this one too.. sigh...
Why the sigh? I should be working.... bye..

All I can say is that I still have a lot to learn. XD
But now that you mention it, another comic artist that's working on a comic, children version of "Little Women", and she said that at the end she left the block shadows out of the panels cause it really didn't fit the whole work, I saw some of her panels and they really look way better without so much black.
