I just recently found out about the Popgun book and I bought it online and it'll get it in th email tomorrow. I'm stoked. Plus now I just GOTTA find out why she has "balls" written on her forehead!

Thanks! My process is really, really simple. I just get a brush and put what I want on the page. The difficult part is just understanding color theory and how light works. Honestly, that part isn't difficult either, it just takes some studying and some trial and error.

Yeah, I know what you mean, sometimes I'm happier than other times, but slowly things are looking up, as for the painting with a brush, I gotta try that one of these days

Normally, I color in Photoshop, but this one was done mostly in Painter. I just fill the canvas with a starting color, usually whatever my ambient/mood light will be, then I paint everything else into that.
