Why would Pyrrha suddenly get the Fall Maiden's powers if Jaune died? (Oh wait, you're implying here that Pyrrha killed Cinder. Duh.) Hmm, it might have been interesting, but honestly, I think Pyrrha wouldn't have been able to beat Cinder without Ruby's help.

If you still remember, in the episode Pyrrha was supposed to get the other half of Amber's Maiden powers in the basement of the Beacon while Jaune was standing guard at the entrance. What this basically is, is if Jaune actually did his job and blocked that one arrow and, of course, fought Cinder while Pyrrha's powers were being transferred.

Oh, okay. Well, I don't know if that would have worked, since Cinder's arrows could shatter on impact and then reassemble themselves in midair, so I think she would have still managed to kill Amber before Pyrrha got her powers.

I thought about this a few months ago, and then I read some fanfics out it, and then I regretted it, and cried a lot.

The feels.... Though personally... I think this would be much better since I don't think Ruby interacted with Pyrrha that much in the show, plus I think it would be much better if Jaune died because he would've gone out like a hero, and that would've made more sense for to unlock her silver eye since she was friends with Jaune.

Pyrrha as we knew her would shatter and never be the same. If she beats Cinder and becomes the Fall Maiden then most likely dedicate herself to being the Fall Maiden and shun anyone from her past and anyone that tries to befriend her.
