Been awhile since I did the daily, was pretty hectic these few weeks, but we're back! More daily sketches@[link]
Today I sketched a pink crystal dragon, was exploring some dragon sketches today, had fun with it! Head is inspired by death wing, the chin piece they did is so badass. Will probably find some time to finish it in the future hopefully.
Ps, I got a message saying that it looked like one of the dragons kekai kotaki did, and accused me that i ripped it off wtf? the only thing i actually had reference for is the deathwing's badass head (isnt that obvious?). And this is a sketch/doodle for fun exploration so it was never meant to rip off whos and what, im not using it for profits and stuffs, plus its not even an illustration. some people really need to take the chill pill.

This is obviously an overpaint of the Guild Wars 2 Dragon The Shatterer but nice work regardless.

The only thing that makes this similar to The Shatterer by Kekai is the colour palette, and even that's a bit of a stretch to make. It looks amazing anyway dude!

He does look like The Shatterer (Kekai's dragon), but I wouldn't say you ripped it off.

I feel like the Shatterer is probably a rip-off of Deathwing, The Destroyer, responsible for shattering the world. Coincidentally, this picture looks a /lot/ like Deathwing, especially the jaw

I've got no clue who Deathwing is (somehow I think it's wow related...) and I don't think you can say Shatty/this dragon is a rip off of Deathwing because, let's face it, you really think professional concept artists would make a serious rip off of something that exists already?
They'll add certain similarities, yes. And get their inspiration/ideas from other artworks before painting their own take of it, sure. But calling it a rip off....

Rip off might be the wrong word, but perhaps an homage to deathwing or inspired by deathwing. But seriously go to google images and look up deathwing and then compare what you see there to this picture and you'll be like, "oh my god they're the same except this guy is pink and deathwing is orange."

who ever this person is can't really say that you stole the idea of him/her it looks almost like a pink deathwings i can't even discribe how many dragons are made like that on this site so what ever they say don't listen to em this is your and its great!
