The Line It Is Drawn #154 for 8/30/13: With the casting of a certain actor as certain comic book character, the theme this week was really odd superhero movie casting. I chose "Oprah Winfrey as Amanda Waller" mainly because this gag popped into my head almost immediately. I was a big fan of John Ostrander & Luke McDonnell's SUICIDE SQUAD back in the 80s, so this was a fun piece to do.As to who I'd cast as Amanda Waller for REAL? Beats me.

well right now Oprah is in talks of playing Waller in Suicide Squad movie
according to Warner, she's the best option for the character xD

This is brilliant! Of course, Oprah wouldn't live very long saying that, but if the Suicide Squad did let her live, she could interview them crying after their mission. I think the best actress for the roll would be CCH Pounder, who actually voiced her on JLU. She's one of three of people voicing comic book characters that I think they should play in live action. Neil Patrick Harris as the Flash in New Frontier and Jerry O'Connell as Captain Marvel on JLU.

nice going despite the satirical nature of this you managed to capture the feel for the characters well this brings back some good memories i hate the New 52 Squad title.
