The early Ford GT's were known as GT 40's. That's the name I know them by. If they were called anything else I am not aware of it.
Thanks.

Thanks. There is a front pair of spokes that cross over each other and a back set that cross over and that sets a pattern of four in line and it keeps repeating.

Really nice work,as usual. This takes me back when I was a kid. I remember going to Sears in the toy section. They sold scale model kits, and,I saw an IMC scale model kit of the Ford GT on the shelves. I also saw a model kit of the XB 70 Valkyrie supersonic bomber too, but,I can't remember who made it though. A nice composition piece. It's a .

My brother got the IMC Ford GT model for Christmas in 1965 and it was really cool and our uncle put it together for him. The front opened and the engine cover as well as the doors. The front wheels were tied together so they turned together. It can be had on Ebay but it can run upwards of $100 which is too much for me.

And yes, those cartoons. I am old enough to have watched this stuff when I was young enough not to get any of the real humor. Then I got it the second or third time through, later in life.

Thanks again.
